AGM
As you all may be aware the NWA AGM was due to be held on the 29 October. Unfortunately due to insufficient members beingpresent at the meeting the AGM was unable to proceed and had to be abandoned. The committee have re arranged the AGM for the 21 January 2010. The meeting will again be held at Woodford Community Centre Woodford Stockport SK7 1PS starting at 8.30pm. Asthe meeting will be held after the membership renewal date memberships will have to be renewed prior to the meeting to allow members to vote. Memberships can be renewed on the night from 8 pm.
Please can I request that members make every effort to attend this meeting as this is your association and the committee need to know what you as members want from the association?
If any members have anything they want to put forward for discussion at the meeting can they please forward details to Chris Wood in writing by the 20 December either by email – moss.wood@ic24.net or post –

Christmas Party - 5 December - CANCELLED
Due to lack of support the committee have decided to cancel this event for 2009. The presentation of the points awards will now take place at the re arranged AGM on the 21 January.
Congratulations
To our committee member Lesley Rosbottom (now Matthews) who got married on the 7 November. Lesley will shortly be moving to Anglesey but assures us she will remain an active committee member. Best wishes go to her and her new husband Clive.
MEMBERSHIPS
Just a reminder that your memberships are due for renewal on the 1 January and that all membership renewal forms must be sent to Harold Sheen and must not be enclosed with show entry forms. The next newsletter will be issued in January 2010 with the WinterShow schedule. If memberships have not been renewed this will be the last newsletter you will receive.
Welsh Medals
We have received some good news from the WPCS. The Association will not lose any of their medals for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
Winter Show 20 and 21 February 2010
The winter show will have a change of format for 2010 and will be run over 2 days.
On Saturday the 20th we will be running BSPS ridden classes including show ponies, hunter ponies, intermediates, CHAPS & Heritage
winter qualifiers.
On Sunday the 21st there will be an enhanced in hand welsh schedule.
The schedule for this show will be issued to all members early in the New Year.
